Our Legacy of Athletic Milestones
Our journey at SJP Elite Mental Game Performance is marked by exceptional achievements and honors that highlight our influence and commitment in athletic coaching. We have played a pivotal role in opening and developing new high schools in the Kansas City area, while actively contributing to the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches and community initiatives.
About Coach Mike Jacobs
Mike is a teacher and assistant baseball coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, KS. He began his teaching career in the Olathe School District in 2017 and moved to St. Thomas Aquinas in 2023. Mike has been coaching at the high school level since 2011 (2011-2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas, 2018-2023 at Olathe West High School, 2024 – present at St. Thomas Aquinas) and has a passion for helping young people in both the classroom and on the baseball field. Mike has been fortunate enough to be a part of many great baseball teams including Kansas 5A State Championships in 2014, 2016, 2023, and 2024, all being at St. Thomas Aquinas. Additionally, he has been fortunate to coach many great baseball players in his career, including many current and former collegiate players and a two MLB draft picks. Mike and his wife, Jordan, have one daughter, Parker, and live in Spring Hill, KS.
